PROGRAM COORDINATOR/COUNSELOR POSITION
The Counseling & Health Service of the Illinois Institute of Technology
has an immediate opening for an energetic professional to coordinate
programs and provide student counseling. We are looking for someone who
has worked in a college programming and counseling setting. Expertise
should include excellent communication skills, program development and
implementation, and short term counseling.
Qualifications include a masters in counseling or related field and
experience in the above areas. This is a full time position with
benefits, including tuition remission.
IIT is a midsized (6000 students) university with undergrad and graduate
majors in Engineering, Architecture, and Science. We also have a Law
School (Kent College of Law) and a Graduate Business School - both
located in downtown Chicago. The main campus is located 3 miles south
of the Loop, near White Sox park.
The Counseling & Health Service is staffed by three counselors, one
nurse-practioner, consulting MD's, graduate externs, and support staff.
We are a counseling and a medical facility and we operate on a wellness
model. Programming comes out of this model.
