Here is very short note about colonel Goshu Wolde, Hagerawis friend.
Colonel Goshu Wolde was member of the fascist DERG. He worked in
different ministerial posts and helped Mengistu Haile Mariam to kill a lot
of people ( to eliminate EPRP) in Ethiopia and in Eritrea until he defected
to the US around 1986.
In the United States and Canada, he organised and became the leader
of the chauvinist "MELAW Amhara.." organization. He is known by his hatred
to Tigrigna speaking people as well as to EPLF and EPRDF. He led some
demonstration against the present government of Ethiopia and Eritrea. He
still dreams to overthrow the Eritrean and Ethiopian governments and to
reunite Eritrea with Ethiopia. Here is the only difference he has with
Hagerawi. While Goshu wants to overthrow both governments, Hagerawi wants to
overthrow the Eritrean government.
P.S. At present we don't here from Goshu. There are some rummours that he
is replaced by another chauvinist.
