The animals who felt oppressed and left out were heading to the
presidential palace to report their grievances to the dictator
Mengistu. The first in line was an elephant and as soon as it entered
Mengistu’s office, the dictator asked "Yes , comrade elephant what
can I do for you?" and the elephant complained
" The people are leaving this country in droves because of the lack
of human rights, and come to think of it there is also no animal
rights here and I want out and need a passport." Mengistu replied "
Come now, comrade elephant, things can not be that bad, our National
Lottery is represented by your picture, we also use your picture as
a logo for our "Wenjy siquar" productions, what more do you need?"
The gigantic creature got convinced that he is doing OK after all and
left Mengistu’s office feeling good about himself. The next in line
was a lion and when he was asked what the problem was, he said "I am

to this Mengistu replied “Sure we have respect for you , our city bus

the answer he got and left.
While all this was happening a donkey who was passing by the
presidential palace stopped and asked what was all the commotion
about and when he was told he decided he should also pay the
president a visit. The donkey, with no regard for the others he
crashed the long line and barged into Mengistu’s office, upon seeing
the jackass Mengistu shouted
" What the heck do you want ? you got no business coming in here, get
out of here!" The donkey who was disappointed and upset by
Mengistu’s reaction shouted back as he was pushed away " I was always
confident that you were your brothers keeper man, but not anymore
because I can see now you are even more cruel to your own kind!"
