selamdehaiers,
I join those dehaiers who ask our prominent members to reconsider their
pledges for silence and to continue rekindle dehai. However wise idea it
may seem, I don't think silence is a good idea at this juncture of
dehai's history. What if some people have joined (and stay in) dehai
only because they enjoy posts by these prominent dehaiers? Their absence
would make dehai look incomplete and partial. This is communication and
we are asking not them to communicate. The best idea instead should be
a general call to all dehaiers to reconsider what they write before
posting them to dehai. What is required is care and respect in
communicating the message. Thus it is the deep respect and care we have
for each other that must guide our communicative behaviour, not
externally imposed sanctions.
