It is less than two months before the school
year is over and it is reported that suddenly all
the Dehai teaching faculty have decided to take leave
of absence, sabbatical or whatever. The most shocking
part is the college president & a lead professor has
agreed to do the same. He even said he may extend his stay
by going to his home town for a visit.
Meanwhile, classes & finals will be run by graduate
assistants, & possibly this years graduates may get their
degrees from the same graduate assistants. Talk about
academic & social responsibility!!
The Dehai college may as well kiss goodbye to
accreditation, said one member of a regional accreditation
body. The professors looked like they had a point to
make, but they didn't because they didn't have one..said
another Board member of Parents and Concerned Citizens :-)
