selam aya Habte and seb dehai,

First of all, thank you for the kind words, the respect is mutual.
In my response about the history books I mentioned Hagherawi, but I wasn't
defending him (I don't even know who he is) of saying some things nor was I
supporting "this man." I just didn't want to speculate or pass judgement on
why he didn't respond. And I was simply responding to the question
following the mention of the topic, ie, Alamin Mohammed Said's book, "sewra
'iertra." Several dehaiers challenged him to present his opinion of the
"misrepresentations." Also, we had discussed this issue almost three years
ago in dehai, and I thought it would not hurt to repeat the discussion.

BTW, I accept Sal's proposal of staying away from dehai a while. (My God,
there is a lot of things I could use my time in, if it weren't for the
"addiction"). I know I have diappointed a number of dehaiers by embroiling
in mud this past few days. Provoked or not, I take full responsibility, and
would like to say I am sorry for disappointing dehai. (Those who sent me
private messages, I'd like to say thank you very much for your confidence
and kind words). Thus I too will be a silent dehaier (except to post
information about Dehai Retreat, you wont see my name).

Take care!
Paulos.
