I have to say that i am a silent dehaier. I couldn't be silent and let such
an important subject about computer taxing pass me. Recently i was talking
with an E.P.L.F member who knows a lot of what is going on in eritrea from
relaiable sources and he informed me that the government of eritrea does not
tax such things like computers, farming and construction quipments and if
they do it is very minimal. And said but they tax heavily on items they
consider to be luxurious, such as cars,and TVs. But know that i know from
dehai members that they do tax heavily, I think what they claim to be saying
that we want Eritrea to be a financial center of the horn and industrial
country is all but bullshit. I can't believe those people. I guess i have
been a blind supporter of EPLF for a long time, it is time for me to change
and question their policies. Because what they say contradicts what they do
at this particular subject. I don't like it at all. Imagine paying
7000Birr for taxes. 7000Birr=$1000 that is almost EQ=a new computer or
roundtrip airfare from here to asmara. Something doeasn't look good here.
I want to here the opinion of some dehai members on this matter. This is
going to hurt our Eritrean Progress.
