Salam Mulugheta, Dehai
My notes that you commented on were based on the part you ignored form =
my post . So your post doesn't make any sense to me , and it doesn't =
relate to what I wrote in terms of general meaning . It does show =
that you are sensitive toward certain words. In fact we are all =
sensitive towards certain words, but we have to overcome this =
sensitivity in order to understand and trust each other, if we can =
do that I am sure we can solve all problems. I believe that the main =
problem we face as Eritreans is mistrust, and what we are doing on Dehai =
is not showing the ability of writing, my understanding is that =
exploration of ideas which may lead to understanding each other, which =
in turn my result in trust.

There is no way you can show any beter proof of your Eritreanity than =
with
the Eritrean ID-card or passport. I was proud of it when I some time ago =
went
to Sudan and had to hide my Western passport at the airport and show =
them the
ERITREAn ID-card. Because that way I would avoid struggling to convince =
them
that I am Eritrean.
There are more than 3.000.000 Eritreans who own that ID card proudly. =
So,
I hope you see what I mean.

Well, after having seen the result of referendum, that it did not =
contradict
but it confirmed the 30 years of national struggle, I hope the "most =
Eritreans"
will do their obligation to show how much they care about Eritrea this =
time again.

Yes, apparently we do have a problem with the 2%. In the past we paid =
much more
than that without any hesitation because we were emotionaly more =
involved in the
struggle. But after the liberation it seems that we lost that factor =
"emotion"
and as a result large percentage of the Eritreans is not paying. So, =
there is
only one means of getting that money and that is enforcement. No matter =
how they=20
do that, at the airport when you go to eritrea or on other events, it =
should be
paid. I am sure if Eritrea would be at war with other countries or there =
would be=20
a major starvation as a result of hunger, which I do not hope, we would =
all wake
up and pay more than the 2%.=20
The poor Dehai contribution for the childeren in Eritrea, some monthes =
ago, shows
how sleepy we are at this stage. I believe it has nothing to do with =
EPLF it was pure=20
humanitarian action yet we failed. So, EPLF should not be as an excuse =
for every
failure. =20

At the same time, any argument triggered by hatred against EPLF does not =
stand
against the basic national duty that you owe the country.
