Congratulations to all Eritreans all over the world. The government of Eritrea and its people, despite the many challenges and obstacles, are wining and registering a remarkable results in every faculty.

There is a saying in the American culture that goes like this, “If you can not beat them, you might as well join them” That is exactly what the US administration is doing with the state of Eritrea. After every conceivable conspiracies weaved to kneel Eritrea down to its knees has been failed, now the world has began to respect and acknowledge the indomitable spirit of the Eritrean people and their leaders.

First, it was the opening of US embassy in Eritrea, followed by the proclamation of May 24 by the Mayor of Las Vegas and Charlotte” as “Eritrean Independence Day” in their respective cities. Then, it was the State Departments grant to Eritrea's high officials to conduct seminars with Eritrean diaspora in many US cities.

And now, the second most powerful man in the world, the honorable Senator Harry Reid, The majority leader of the Senate, has expressed his admiration for the strong leadership of the Eritrean government and assured to the Eritrean-American community of Las Vegas his willingness to expedite the process of normalizing the relations between the State of Eritrea and the US.

"What a country, what a people, what a leadership"!!!!!!

A WEEK AND OF WEEKENDS OF MANY JUBULATION OF MANY KINDS ALL OVER THE WORLD BY ERITREANS AND FRIENDS::: 1st- it is an invitation of many new graduate of high schools, 2nd- it is an invitation of new college graduates, and lastly 3rd- IT IS AN INVITATION OF ERITREA'S INDEPENDENCE BY OUR YOUTH. I could not be any prouder to be part of the few, the proud, and hard working Eritreans who are witnessing their fruits blossiming in all directions: yes it requires lots of determination, yes it requires lots of disciplen, yes it requires lots of work, yes it requires lots of lead-by-example, yes it requires lots of focus, yes it requires lots of politics, yes it requires lots of open communication, and yes it requires to be an Eritrean because the alternatives are nothing but distruction. Deki Eri, the Eritrean roots are planted and continue to be planted all over the world by hook-or-crook and there ain't nothing THE AIGAMES/WEYANES WHO ARE HIDING UNDER THE SKIRTS OR BOXERS OF THE PEDOPHILES/PROSTITUES/UNies/NGO'S CAN DO TO STOP THE NEW WORLD. Eritrean is Eritrean no matter of what.

Hidrom's post sent me back 50 years to my highschool at Atzie Dawit Secondary school in Keren. I was a freshman class of '68. I remember we had a lot of teachers from abroad, mostly from India and quite a few from the west. There were also mixed in with this group some Eritreans and Ethiopians. You have to remember that most of us were local students, a majority of us spoke either bilen or tigre or a smattering of tigrinya. You would think the school would take this into consideration and cater to our childhood abilities. But no. It was either english or the amhara language. The ethiopian teachers had no other use but to teach us their language which tormented our childhood brains. It was terrible. The cultural linguistic and religious domination was too much to bear. I hope on this 20th year of our freedom, all of Eritreans would take pause to look back and reflect what has been sacrificed and what has been accomplished for the welfare of the citizenry and the freedom of our people.

Thank you,

Brother Hidrom,

I am afraid you missunderstood part of my message saying..

.. it is worrying to see different pieces of clothes hanging as decoration on a none representative, thoughtless style and order, example is the stage of "yata" ...

and it is not my intention to belittle our Artists' presentation, infact they should be encouraged and thanked for their hardwork, dedication and contribution. I am enjoying the whole arrangement with pride too. But my concern was about the decoration of the STAGE ያታ, where our artists stand to perform. I mean the colors should be put on their righteous orders next time.

Wish you all dehaiers joyful celebrations too!

Warsay-Ykaalo, I am sorry to disagree with your assessment relative to the artistic presentation of Eritrean artists and writers.

Do not forget, just 20 years ago the Eritrean culture, history, language, music, and tradition was buried by Ethiopia. When the Amhara came to Eritrea, they did not only colonize Eritrea as country by they also erased the very culture and tradition of Eritrea and that include the Eritrean music and literature. Do not forget, they designed to make Asmara to lose all other Eritrean languages, make Asmara an “Amharic Speaking City”. They planned to change the Eritreans into Amhara. And the first thing they tried to kill was the Eritrean music. Do not forget, they were that close to succeed on their mission too. But thanks to the creative Eritrean artists, the Eritrean music is back, the Eritrean history is back, the Eritrean cultural and way of life is back, and last but not least the Eritrean identity is back with unprecedented speed in quantity and quality in less that 20 years. All these thanks to the Eritrean scholars, historians, writers, and artists. Thanks to the Almighty, do you know all Eritrean youngsters which are less than 25 years old do not know Amharic and that is an achievement with no match and that is what independence and liberty means.

Therefore, what the Eritrean writers and artist need from you and I is unreserved and uncompromised gratitude and encouragement for a job well done. Sure enough, here they are, the Eritrean artist, the best compared to dismal Africa.

Happy Independence to You!

We are following the celebrations in Eritrea with pride through EriTV internationally and is still to go on for days to come too. But my concern is on how we pay regard when reflecting to this wonderful and memorable days. Our flag's meaningful lines and design should be kept on its original style, but it is worrying to see different pieces of clothes hanging as decoration on a none representative, thoughtless style and order, example is the stage of yata where I noticed a flaw on. The stage is to accomodate our artists and their national songs, poets and more. It is my personal point of view and Im afraid adjustment is highly needed there to help them extend their message to reflect our hard gained freedom as it is meant to.

Happy Independence Celebrations!
God Bless the soul of our martyrs who paid their life to make the day come true!

5. Washington DC on Monday May 27, by Osman Saleh & Yemane Ghebreab.

Check Dehai News for additional information.
Let Eritrea speak the truth! And let Eritrea shine for all to see!

By the way, there is no need to worry about the “ERITREAN BENEDICT ARNOLDS” that are being lead by the “ASMARA BORN/RAISED TEGARU“ in the streets of the West. However be ready for some evil from these scam of the earth. Get ready with your cellphones, video cameras and camers to take the picture of these Hasus in action, especially the pictures of these "Asmara Born Tegaru" who will be there to lead the few Eritrean Hasus. The law is on your side and use the law to protect yourselves and your mission. Remember how Oakland beat the HASUS. There is no need to be physical about it but use the law to beat the enemies and use your weapon to collect evidence of crime of these HASUS.

Deki Ere, get ready to make Eritrea shine brighter for all to see! Get ready to celebrate your achievements thus far. Eritrea, the country of small words, here you are to show them what “Eritreanism” was meant to be. No wonder they call you the "can-do country" (ሃገረ ይከኣሎ)!

It is time for Eritreans all over the world to celebrate Eritrea. You bet, from North America to Europe from Middle East/Africa to Down Under to Australia/New Zealand, here are Eritreans to celebrate. Go ahead Eritrea, celebrate for you have earned the right to celebrate your achievment!

While we are at it, let us make sure the children are to swim in the Eritrean sea of love and harmony. Let us make these weeks special time for the kids to taste what “belonging to Eritrea” means.

By the way, do not worry about the handful HASUS that you will see barking like a “mad dog” from the streets of the West. It is the season they hate the most and it is the time of the year they dread the most. As a result, you will see them “barking like a mad” from across the streets at the corner of Broadway and 18th Street. By the way, do not be shocked if the handful HASUS, lead by "ERITREA BORN/RAISED TEGRAWOT", showed up to spoil your WURAI in DC. Are you telling me there is Eritrean to be lead by the "dogs that bit the hands that raised/fed them" (The Tegaru)? How could that be. To the TEGARU it is in their blood to see Eritrea destroyed. But how could Eritreans conspire to destroy their home with the TEGARU? Then again, they are not the first and that is why they are called "KEDAE" OR "HASUS"

While you are at it, Deki Ere, please log on to http://www.alenalki.com to watch a slide show: “Sports Day on the Occasion of 22nd Independence Day Stockholm”.

What a sight, and what a proud sight to behold. Take a look, the Eritrean young men and women shining brighter all to see. Here are the “Second Generation Warsai” taking charge.

To the Eritrean parents in the Scandinavian countries, what can I say, except congratulation for a job well done in raising such children which are the envy of other communities. I confess “ቁዱስ ቅንኢ ኣሕዲረ!”

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE WEEK/DAY ERITREA!

Selamat all,

I read some discussions here about how to invest or trade before here on this forum and this you may find it interesting.

For those of you who are interested, to invest or buy some stocks... I think this is a good stock to follow or buy before the stock shoots back up in price. Australian South Boulder Mines Ltd (ASX:STB)(Especially those who live in Australia) May 16 - Closed at 0.38

http://www.google.com/finance?cid=689557

Now that South Boulder Mines has an agreement with the Eritrean National Mining Corporations (ENAMCOO) 50/50 ownership agreement, I think it's a matter of time before this stock shoots up...

Deki Eri, Happy Independence Day!
